How does it work?
Tin purified of the part of impurities is fed at the bottom of the machine. Then the machine transports the tin upwards where it is gradually heated, what enables separation of tin from the impurities such as lead (Pb) and bismuth (Bi). Tin leaves the crystalliser in the form of crystals. It is the last stage of refining that allows producing tin ingots if the highest quality of Sn 99.99%.
